PAGADIAN CITY,
Zamboanga del Sur (May 23, zsppo) -– A total of P22,000 cash prize is at stake
at the mural painting contest launched Thursday by the police provincial
command in this city.
Of the total amount,
the first prize winner will receive P10,000 cash prize while P7,000 and P5,000
cash prizes will be given to the second and third place winners, respectively.
Provincial police
director Senior Supt. Sofronio Ecaldre said there are a total of 12 groups
comprising a maximum of three members that are participating in the mural
painting contest.
Ecaldre said the
participants have until Friday to complete their paintings that will portray
the message of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Transformation Roadmap.
Ecaldre said that the
competition is open to all professional artists.
The criteria of the
competition are as follows: theme relevance, 40 percent; artistry, 30 percent;
visual impact, 10 percent; and, speed, 10 percent.
